The Lume Clarity Standard

A finish should be clear—and accountable.

Good restoration is more than making a cloudy lens look shiny. It starts with the right diagnosis, protects the vehicle during correction, and ends with a professional-grade UV-cured finish.

SIX QUALITY CHECKPOINTS

What every eligible service must get right.

These checkpoints keep the work consistent without pretending every damaged lens begins—or ends—in the same condition.

01

Condition first

We screen for cracks, internal moisture, failed seals, damaged reflectors, and other problems an exterior restoration cannot solve.

02

Matched correction

The starting abrasive and number of correction stages are chosen for the actual lens condition—not forced into a one-step package.

03

Paint protected

Nearby paint and trim are cleaned, inspected, and isolated before machine or hand correction begins.

04

Protection applied

The corrected polycarbonate receives a dedicated UV-protective finish with product-specific cure and aftercare instructions.

05

Pair evaluated

Both headlights are reviewed together for clarity, evenness, remaining defects, and realistic limitations.

06

We verify the finish

The completed work receives a final quality inspection, and the vehicle owner receives clear aftercare guidance.

BEFORE WORK BEGINS

We define the limitation.

Exterior oxidation, surface haze, and a failed outer coating are often appropriate for restoration. Internal haze, cracks, moisture, reflector damage, failed seals, and severe heat damage require a different repair. If the condition is not a fit, we say so before touching the vehicle.

FINAL QUALITY CHECK

We verify the pair.

We inspect the lenses in consistent lighting, explain any defects that remain, and provide the correct cure and aftercare instructions for the professional-grade finish.
